In a distant, apocalyptic future, nations and society as we know it have crumbled. Warlords, criminals, seedy corporations and worse fight one another for small sections of livable land, resources, power and most importantly mechs and their parts.

These mechs are the driving force of change in this time. Pilots are well paid and well respected no matter who they fight for. Some believe in the cause of their warlord and fight loyally. Some fight for the corporations because they cut the fattest checks. And some fight for the dirtiest of criminals because they enjoy life without the weight of conscience.

You are one of these pilots. Or at least you’re about to be. You have managed to win yourself a mech in a game of chance and the world lies at your feet.
