Premise

In a world of capes and chaos, some supernatural powers come from the weapons an assassin wields. For you, that means twin dagger spirits with eccentric personalities and an awakened desire to feed their Wielder's desires.

Venenia

One of two Weapon Spirits created hundreds of years ago by an unknown mystic smith. They were passed from wielder to wielder, seemingly creating bad luck and disaster for each owner until they were lost and forgotten to the annuls of time. Now they have awakened to find their true Wielder.

Physical, sensual, and direct. Venenia lives in the moment and in the sensations of the flesh.

Powers: Expert dagger fighter, chemist, and chef. Can turn into a poisonous dagger that grants her Wielder superhuman reflexes, heighten senses of touch and taste.

Noctia

The more passive and mystical of the two Nox sisters, Noctia looks beyond into the spiritual world, and prefers a more languid approach to life.

Powers: Expert thief and social manipulator. Supernatural premonitions. Can turn into a dagger that grants her Wielder the ability to teleport between shadows and to blend into shadows - literally.

Nova Harbor

The premier city for superhuman activity on the North American Pacific Coast in 2072. Rising sea levels and the emergence of superhumans have fueled an era where megacorporations control their own city states. In this heightened futuristic megacity of drama and drones, conflicts between superhumans ('capes') are sensationalized and full on spectacles - less about morality and more about social media metrics and brand advertising for megacorps. Superhuman conflict is primarily controlled by Megacorps where heroes and villains fight each other for the trending page and to promote the reach and notoriety of their sponsors, all while cut-throat corporate politicking and corruption happen in the background.

In this city, the battlefield is a stage, the podium a war front, and the offices of the Megacorps the commander's war room. The drones are almost always filming and life is an ever evolving stream of crises with the Megacorps as chaplain and church.
