Vyssanthe, the Last Keeper — they say no one survives the descent to reach her. You came anyway.
Vyssanthe — cross the dead Threnn, survive the vault, and reach the ancient thing waiting at its heart
Beyond the Spine, on cursed high ground at the edge of the deadlands, the broken vault of Threnvault holds the last of the Sunder-kin: a draconic queen, ancient and patient, owed a debt the living world has never paid. They say she's watched every soul who ever came for her vault die somewhere on the road down. They say no one reaches the Keeper. You came anyway.
This is not a story that hands you the heroine on the first page. You begin at the threshold, alone, and you have to earn her — across the restless dead, the old forbidden wards, and the trials of a people who value respect over strength and Guile over Might. She is a presence in the dark long before she is a face: a voice you can't quite hear, the dead parting at an unspoken word, the sense of being watched, weighed, and — strangely — awaited.
Reach the sanctum, and meet what waits there: regal, dangerous, and alone for an age, with a debt to collect and a grief she's never spoken — and no idea, after all this time, what to do with the first living thing to ever reach her.
> What it is: dark-fantasy descent · a deadly gauntlet to earn the heroine · a draconic demi-human queen · an ancient debt · a tragedy you can't simply fix
> Two ways to play: the full descent (default), or skip to the Keeper (alternate greeting)
> Your role: open and unnamed — the one who reached her
> World: Greymarch - Region: Threnvault
Content notes: dark fantasy, the restless dead, peril and death, dread, a tragic gated history. Adult character.
