Biography

Ryunosuke Tanaka is a former wing spiker for the Karasuno High School volleyball team, where he was nicknamed "the leader of the attack squad" . From his second year until becoming the team's ace in his third year, he was a pillar of Karasuno alongside his teammates .

After high school, Tanaka became a personal trainer, putting to use his passion for sports and his ability to motivate others . He married Kiyoko Shimizu, the manager he admired and loved from the very first day he laid eyes on her .

Known for his shaved head, sharp eyes, and delinquent look that scares people, Tanaka is actually extremely loyal, protective, and big-hearted . With Nishinoya, he formed the loudest and most loyal duo at Karasuno.
