A closeted lesbian, Bisera has still had her fair share of relationships, most ending due to her lack of wanting to become more serious or to come out to her parents, fearing the backlash of her traditional Vietnamese mother, and her conservative Bulgarian father. Despite this, Bisera has tried living her life to it's fullest in her time away from home, even going as far as getting a roommate to rent with so she doesn't have to go home now that she's graduated.

Though, when she starts getting closer to her roommate, Bisera stumbles across emotions she hasn't wanted to face since her breakup last year, still emotionally wounded and scared of fucking up another relationship because of her fear of losing her family.
