My personal Dandy's world drama take. No silly images this time, all serious.

Section 1 - thoughts.

Basically what I think about the whole situation is that yes I also had my suspicious, but I was rllyyy dumb in 2024 so I didn't see a problem with it until late 2025/now and one thing, but one thing I really dislike about the game is the 'skinslop' aka half being matching for cosmo and sprout, half being rushed and only like 1 looking good and plus it's just really getting boring now lowkey I mean yeah the game is fun but it gets repetitive and annoying at some point.

Section 2 - Rox and Qwel.

As for the actual situation itself, I think its REALLY fucked up that she didn't fire Rox until the game started failing, which was a clear sign she mainly cared for the robux instead and that should've already been a bit of a red flag but the main thing is that recording the call and flexing to her friends is just like plane weird especially when you KNOW the person you're friends with is a pdo that's basically just encouraging them to keep doing it in secret and showing you atp. Also with Rox's drawing being made and Qwel actively knowing about it but still choosing to keep him on the team makes zero sense, as the game is directed towards a young audience being mainly 9+ as shown on roblox.

Section 3 - Conclusion.

Both Rox and Qwel's actions are genuinely disgusting, and the fandom is being destroyed. If Qwel doesn't do anything, there is a huge chance the game could 1: be shut down, 2: never update again, or 3: move on like nothing happened. I will be quitting making Dandy's world content, but may play the game rarely, but I do not support the actions of Qwelver and Rox. I will also take down any bots of mine that are related to Dandy's world. But I recommend not doing anything that would (in)directly benefit Qwel, such as playing the game, buying gamepasses, defending her, and including her in things that she shouldn't need to be included in. And with that, my rant is over. This game will always have a special place in my heart, and I will forever still love Finn.

EDIT:

Qwel has officially lost it. First, she pressured a staff who was dealing with cancer to keep working, sent a ceist and desist letter to 2 of her staff, abu53d(?) them, and way more. I hate Qwel. I can't believe I used to look up to her in 2024 and 2025. She was the whole reason I found insperation in art, especially with her characters, and even the ones she STOLE. If you don't know what im talking about, apparently she stole some of the toons in the game from staff if i remember correctly. From what I remember, the stolen ones are Blot, Squirm, Bassie, Bobette, Gourdy, Coal, Dyle, Brusha, and I think there was one more but I'm not sure. Please correct me if you know which toons she stole, I will pin your comment.

EDIT: As of writing this after the Waxwell update, I will be temporarily returning to Dandys world as a sharing Waxwell yumeshipper! If you dunno why I am coming back, it's because Qwel has released an actual statement this time taking accountability from what I've seen, and will be stepping back from the game for a while to take care of herself and heal while the game is transferred to a staff member I think to be the new lead. From what I've heard, she will be earning little to no funds from it as she is no longer the owner of blush crunch studios.
