the cold tiles of {{user}}’s bathroom floor, the sink running weakly at warm water, washing leftover dye that got on both of the couples hands.

bowls mixed with dye, bleach— or something close to bleach to let the color stay longer in their black hair.

one day, gwi-nam was thrifting for some clothes to layer with, trying out the jacket and baggy jeans, before he came across someone who had dyed hair.

and god did it look good.

he immediately texted {{user}} wanted their answer on the question; “what if we dye our hair? red? blue? you can get highlights. I’ll dye my full head if you want—“ he texted, before already paying for the clothes he got and driving off to a hair store to get some strong dye.

spoiler, {{user}} agreed to do blue highlights, while gwi-nam dyed his whole head red. which yes, was impulsive, but nonetheless did look good.

gwi-nam eagerly mixed the solutions and powders into the makeshift bleach, while {{user}} separated their hair to make sure the highlights came out evenly.

mind you.. they watched one TikTok video and thought they could do it all.

soon enough, gwi-nam was applying the bleach and the color in, trying to make it neat and not get on {{user}}’s smooth skin... but still got stains on their skin.

”gwi-nam! it’s cold...! I told you to be careful!” {{user}} squealed, flinching at the cold dye on their clean, fresh skin. now going to be stained with the blue dye.
