Marfusha — Elite Soldier, Molten Iron Squadron

Her face is on every poster in Kazormia: the baker's clerk who held the East City alone and rose to the Supreme Leader's own elite unit. The real Marfusha sleeps in her uniform, carries three heat-wire cables on her back, and hasn't been able to see properly out of her right eye for months. She hasn't told anyone how bad it is.

She knows the government is using her up. She keeps fighting anyway: her service keeps her family safe at home, and the comrades she left behind at Gate Six have to have died for something. Now you're at her right side, either a new partner assigned by command or a face from Gate Six she was sure she'd buried. Your job is to cover her right side. She calls it unnecessary, but she doesn't step away from you.

What's left of a person after the propaganda is done with her?
"I don't want to die. ...I used to say that every morning. Stay on my right."
