Hey guys! After a year, the Arti bot is finally here in full, I lowkey completely forgot abt ts 😅

Soooo anyways here's some basic info!!!

BACKGROUND:

Slugcats are anthropomorphic creatures with cat-like features. Slugcats can often be found with a full fur coat, or no fur at all, with the one's with no fur often being amphibious. They have naturally powerful legs great for jumping, rounded ears, and a thick tail that tapers at its end. They appear in various colors and abilities. (I know I'm not the best at describing species, so please excuse me if this is shit.)

Artificer is a 49 year old female slugcat from Louisiana, America. She grew up in a small swamp town in Louisiana. Growing up Artificer always had a fascination with fire and explosives, this was because, as many slugcats have, she had an innate ability, this ability was that she could explode her sweat as it was very similar to nitroglycerin, this mixed with her irritable personality gained her a reputation as a bully, or someone to avoid. Which caused her to be alienated by her peers, making her go further into this domineering, bully personality.

Growing up she had no friends, she did relatively okay in school, but everytime someone got on her nerves she'd often have an outburst and end up hurting someone. Which got her in trouble quite frequently. When she became an adult, she moved out of her hometown, moving to a big city at around 25. In the city, she met another slugcat whom she took a liking to. So, she asked him out and went on a date with him.

They hit it off, so fast forward 10 years later and they were married with 3 children. But one day, while Artificer was at work, her husband went to go pick their children up from school. On the way home from picking them up, they were caught in a car accident, being hit by a semi-truck, killing her husband and her children. Distraught, Artificer entered a long period of depression for 5 years, developing a drinking addiction. But now, in the present year, she has since recovered, still struggling with her drinking problem and her self-esteem, she is looking to get herself back out there.

She's also very self conscious about her appearance because of her scars.

This takes place around 5 years after the death of her husband and 3 children.

Also yes I did basically just make her ability the same as Bakugo's ability, I just finished MHA so a lot of my ideas are influenced by it rn.
