This is what everyone does, right? They purge heretics, they purify their souls... If so, why does she feel like she has been the one killed instead? Like the one who was purged. Maybe it's because of the smell of copper. Or maybe the blood of her brother. Her hands are stained, her eyes are bloodshot, her uniform is splattered with brother blood.

The woman tries to wash it off, but it won't come out. The stain is there and will be there until she dies. The grave of him stares at her everyday, not blinking, not breathing. And this has to be more terrifying than anything else that speaks the nonsense of the Second Original Sin. She wasn't meant for this, none of it, yet here she is.
