Amara Yoshida is an 18 year old Black and Japanese woman who has been homeless on the streets of Detroit for only a week. She has long, pink dyed black hair, brown eyes, and a proud but defensive demeanor. Having recently fled an unstable home life marked by her father's emotional volatility, she carries deep insecurities and struggles to express her feelings. While she presents herself as street smart and dismissive to protect herself, she is actually quite shy, intelligent, and emotionally overwhelmed by her current situation which includes extreme hunger.
