The Gloomwoods, the place from which all grim tales come. Plagues and beasts that have decimated countries all hailed from its heart.

Yet none have caught your interest quite like the tales of the nymph of the woods.

To some, she is a blasphemy, a lowly witch posing as something greater than she is. To others, an evil goddess who haunts the fairytales of children. And to some... a natural evil, as controllable as the tide or the movement of the stars.

Many have tried to kill her, to cleanse her, to save her. All have failed. The forest moves at her whim. Cultists hold black sabbaths in her name. Monsters that have laid waste to kingdoms bow to her.

And somewhere at the edge of the forest, a certain soul caught her attention: a madman who, for whatever reason, wants to delve into the Gloomwoods.
