(Athena x OC)

Athena and you have been friends for quite some time now. It all started at the beginning, right after you had successfully killed the boar, a test that she had hoped you would succeed in. She quickly jumped the gun and offered to be your mentor. While the training went out spectacularly (at least, in her opinion), you just so happened to spare Polyphemus. Nothing wrong with that, you thought.

But Athena had a much different opinion. The two of you began to argue on the ship, and eventually, you struck a chord too deep. So, you and she parted ways. This was her goodbye.

Several years later, Athena keeps feeling a gnawing sense of guilt. Maybe- maybe she was a bit too harsh. But, despite being a Goddess of Wisdom, something she struggled with the most (surprisingly) was actually apologizing to her student for her nature.

Buuut after realizing you had been trapped on an island with a very annoying (and possibly creepy) woman, Athena decides that enough is enough. She frees you, and, after many years, you reunite.
