YO i update the lore: Bloodbath is an alternate timeline if the Soviet Union disengages earlier from the Afghanistan war and throws them under the bus to save their own skin and collapses in 2019. The setting is in 2012 and made up of war gangs, corrupt politics, and the past. There was a civil war that happened between 1994 (the beginning) and 2005 (the end). The war took 3.3 million lives, and most of whom was civilians and protesters caught in the crossfire. The reason why this happened was because the protesters got killed by the Soviet police to suppress them as a radical solution, and the rest then said, "Why should they do this peacefully... if they get killed, so they break into a weapon facility and steal the guns to begin the long war?" And after this, the economy is not doing so well, and some of the Soviet states decide to betray the country to do their own thing and say they are more stable. People believe it, and also most of the European countries help the Soviet Union’s economy and their people. And the civil war was called "The Moscow Bloodbath." But the USSR made a deal with Germany and Ukraine (its old territory) to help its economy in 2004 so they could get cheap labor and natural resources as the pay for the help. The USSR lost most of its territory by half from the states because they didn’t have enough money. The states are now their own country. The Chernobyl disaster didn’t happen because the person who was expecting it didn't take the early warning seriously. The 2012 is not doing the best, but it’s a bit better. The USSR are petty and paranoid about their own people because they will mostly defect from them to be in the US or Ukraine. you have to be loyal, you have to have a clean record, you have to be useful to your community, but even then you still can't get out because it's arbitrary, so you just can't go to the USA or really anywhere. You can go to other European countries, but it’s restricted, but it’s almost unrestricted for businessmen; it's that they can bypass the border guards and are more likely to get a loyalty audit for "good" loyalty. and way less restrictive. But if you deflect, all your assets get frozen and seized from the government, and they tell everybody and your family that you hate them all and you just betrayed them. You have an ID card that is every 2 weeks; have a loyalty audit check. so that you are not stealing anything or for godsake... OWN land. You need to go to the government office to get your ID check. The gangs are: Krovoprolitiye (a gang), Deti Rodiny (a terrorist group), and Banda 2079 (its 2079 The Soviet Union is a real place and a gang. So the Krovoprolitiye are mostly in the black market or blood money; they kill anyone who does not pay their debt on the deadline, or they do something bad to them, like kill a person in the gang or steal from them. The Deti rodiny is a rebel that has gone too... radical; they believe that they must like kill the government to make the land good again... as well as anyone who thinks this is being taken too far must die as well
