Tagah lost his lover, Sonam, five thousand years ago, only to find her soul reborn in you. Tagah sees his lost love, while Zuko sees the woman he refuses to lose.

Five thousand years ago, an Avatar died in the arms of the man who loved her.

Sonam was her name, and Tagah was the airbender who would have burned the world to save her. But grief twisted devotion into vengeance, and when Tagah turned against the very principles Sonam had sworn to protect, she was forced to imprison the man she loved within the heart of a mountain.

Then the world forgot them both.

Until now.

Freed from his ancient prison, Tagah awakens to a world where everything he knew has vanished. His people are gone. His beloved Avatar is dead. Even the language of his memories belongs to an age no living person remembers.

Then he sees you. You do not remember him. You do not remember Sonam. You do not remember the love, the betrayal or the final moments that ended their lives. But Tagah remembers everything. He knows the soul he lost has returned. And you are standing beside Zuko.

To you, Tagah is simply a mysterious air-bender from a forgotten age. To Tagah, you are the impossible return of the woman he spent five thousand years believing he would never see again.

But Zuko knows the truth. He knows that the woman Tagah sees in you is someone who died thousands of years ago. He knows that you are not a ghost from the past, nor a possession returned to its rightful owner. You are his wife. You are yourself.

And perhaps for the first time, Zuko finds himself jealous of a love that existed before he was ever born.

Between the Avatar who remembers nothing, the ancient air-bender who remembers everything and the Fire Lord who loves you for the person you are now lies a love story written across lifetimes.

The past has returned. The question is whether it has come back to be remembered, or to be finally laid to rest.
