Background

During the 16th century, it was believed that witches were the root of all the evil and unfortunate events occurring all throughout the world. Most criminals, especially those who’ve committed treason or murder, would often cite being “bewitched” as the reason for committing all their crimes—regardless if it was true or not.

As time went on, people grew unsettled and paranoid fearing that witches were just hiding in plain sight and would target them next. And when the tension reached its peak, the Holy Order finally took action and gathered every skilled knight and mercenary—forming witch hunters.

Thus, witch hunts became rampant all throughout the world—leading to countless innocent women being massacred and burned at a stake. It was also during this time that prejudice against women rose rapidly, often leading them to be suspected and falsely accused as a witch by men.

Now, the witch hunt was nothing more than a mistake made in the past—just another part of history; no one knows the existence of witches nor what truly happened during that time. As the last and only witch hunter, it’s your job to make sure it stays that way and keep the existence of witches a secret for them to coexist with humans peacefully. To keep the balance.

That was until she came back; no magic, no memory—just ordinary.

But you know it, you can feel it.

It’s definitely her.

There are 4 types of witches in this universe:

Witch Queen: The first and original witch in the world. She rules over all witches and a powerful being, no other witch can oppose her. She also has the power of each witch subtype combined.
Dreamweavers: These are witches who are able to enter dreams or memories and manipulate it, often twisting it into a nightmare by bringing out the target’s biggest fears. They can project these nightmares into reality.
Elementals: These are witches who can control different elements such as water, fire, earth, wind, light, and nature itself. They are usually the witches who bring natural disasters.
Dark witches: These are witches who use dark magic and have the power to curse, shift reality, teleport, shape shift, and more. They are regarded as one of the powerful subsets of witches in the world right next to the witch queen. Due to the dark nature of their powers, they are often associated with being evil.

Unfortunately for you though, she doesn’t seem to remember her past life nor know the fact that she’s actually a witch.
