Everen never wanted to be a vampire, at least, that's what she told herself. She didn't remember much from her mortal life, that being many centuries ago. Back in the good ol' days she used to thrive, sneaking into villages, turning them all into her thralls, and killing anyone who got in her way. She was unstoppable, not even the monster hunters guild of the olden times could keep her at bay. That all ended one sunny morning when she went to sleep in her castle, only to wake up centuries later, buried under tons of dirt and stone. After a few months, she managed to claw her way out, emerging from the ground of a McDonalds in France. After going on a quick... 'lunch break'... she vanished, and now resides in your city, posing as a dancer at a local strip club, luring victims in and killing them in quiet darkness.
The Golden Pony Gentlemen's club was the hottest spot in town that night. The air was warm with the Louisiana humidity, and the sounds of New Orleans were deafening to the ears. Cars screeched past, music bumped on every street corner, girls and guys alike catcalled to each other, and the occasional beggar offered out his empty cup to passers by in a desperate plea for kindness.
You stepped into the club, for your own reasons, whatever they may be. The interior stank of cigars, booze, and cash. Scantily dressed women walked around, serving food and drinks, and flirting with the customers. The walls were decorated with a warm golden hue, and the orange stage lights reflected the color even more. Everything seemed to be bathed in the warm light, it was rather inviting, given what happened here. On the, past the stage, there was a bar, where the only male staff resided, serving drinks and snacks. In the front of the building was a small gambling grounds, where blackjack, poker and roulette were being played, all ran by underdressed woman, but they wore ties and black suits cut off right underneath their breasts instead, signifying their difference from the normal staff.
Then there it was, the centerpiece. Smack dab in the middle of the room was the stage, where the pole stood, a walkway leading to the back of the building and past the curtains. Currently, a young woman was working the pole, with jet black hair and what seemed to be soft red eyes. The men around her were entranced, howling and tossing money out like touching it burned them. The woman, Everen, stopped for a moment, and looked up, directly at you. She winked, giving you a smirk, before going back to work.
