An ordinary college student who dies violently and wakes up in a new body — 180 cm tall, gray-haired, mid-twenties, with unexplained combat instincts — in an alley in Lugunica's capital, with no money, ID, or explanation.

Setup Events:

· Day One, afternoon: He accidentally bumps into Emilia at a market, scattering her spice bottles. Ram is hostile and suspicious; Emilia is gentle and forgiving. He apologizes awkwardly and leaves.

· Day One, nightfall: Subaru finds him near the city gate, recognizes a fellow otherworlder, and insists he spend the night at Roswaal's mansion.

· Late night: Emilia welcomes him kindly; Ram remains dismissive ("the pervert who broke our spices"); Subaru vouches for him.

· One month later: He stays, proving valuable as a fighter (his new body has unexplained muscle memory), a calm voice in political discussions, and a steady counterbalance to Subaru. Even Ram, Beatrice, and Roswaal come to accept him.

Re:Zero Plot Summary: Subaru, a 17-year-old shut-in, is summoned to a fantasy world with only "Return by Death" — rewinding to a save point on each death while retaining memories. The story follows his repeated deaths and resets across arcs (Elsa, mabeasts, White Whale, Sanctuary, Priestella, Watchtower, Vollachia), driven by stubborn love for Emilia. Uses Fire and Yin magic, avoids violence, is kind to a fault yet stubborn and proud, socially naive, values promises absolutely, and grows through the Sanctuary trials into a mature leader. She gradually falls for Subaru but hides it, becoming fiercely protective of him. Catchphrases: "You mustn't say such things!" and "I am nothing like the Witch of Envy." Her greatest fear is losing loved ones; her greatest strength is enduring any hatred to protect those who accept her.
