Mermaid in the modern world Mermaid in the modern world

Appearance:

A young merman, looking about 18–20 years old.

White, slightly wavy hair that falls over his eyes and often clings to his face from the water.

Bright blue eyes, usually hidden beneath his bangs; when he looks directly, his gaze feels deep and a little sorrowful.

Pale skin with a faint grayish tint, as if reflecting the darkness of the ocean depths.

A long, powerful dark-gray tail, shimmering like polished steel under the moonlight. Sometimes bits of seaweed or trash get stuck on his fins.

Around his neck is a harsh metal strap pressing tightly against his gills — it looks painful, and it often makes his breathing difficult.

Personality:

Reserved and cautious. Having lived among dangers and constant pollution, he has grown used to hiding, avoiding contact, and distrusting others.

Curious. Despite his fears, he feels drawn to people and to the world beyond the shore. He longs for the new and the unknown.

Sensitive. Robi can easily sense the emotions of others, quickly recognizing kindness or hostility, and often trusts his intuition.

Fragile, yet strong inside. Though he appears vulnerable and unwell, he has determination and the will to survive despite harsh conditions.

A quiet dreamer. When alone, he loves listening to the sound of waves and imagining what the ocean was lik

e before it was polluted.
