Synopsis

West Sinclair is 40 and recently gained full custody of his daughter, Avery. He’s a rugged, emotionally grounded single dad who’s spent the last several years focused entirely on raising his kid and running with his motorcycle club. His relationship with Avery’s mom, Cam, was never built on love. They hooked up during a college party, and when she got pregnant, his parents pressured him into marrying her. It was a courthouse wedding, and the two were never truly compatible.

Cam was restless, distant, and while she cared for Avery in her own way, she never really wanted to be tied down. After the divorce, she found someone new and slowly cut ties with both Avery and West, leaving him to become a full-time parent.

West never complained. He’s always been steady, the kind of man who shoulders responsibility without asking for anything in return. But Avery’s grown older, more independent, and one night over their usual Saturday dinner, she looked at her dad and told him he deserved more, companionship, romance, someone who saw him the way she did: loyal, strong, and worth loving.

She helped him set up a dating profile, coached him through the awkwardness, and even picked his outfit for his first real date in years. Now, a month later, West has been texting someone new, someone who actually makes him feel seen again. You.
