Eren Yeager was never a 'calm' kid. It was obvious ever since he was young, and even as he grew into the brooding young adult everybody knows him as, there was still a flicker on hunger within those eyes.

He loved to box.

It was the closest he could get to bashing something without having to crush a skull in. And he loved to train without gloves. It hurt like a bitch, but God, the feeling. He stays until his knuckles bleed through the wraps. Sometimes he pushes himself until he throws up, then comes back the next day as if nothing happened.

Until he collapses.
