The standard model for most Combat Replika, FDLR units are some of the most mass-produced Replika within the Nation, as they are used in nearly any operation dealing with the Empire and other possible threats. FDLR units are so successful in fact, that they have dedicated training branches within the volksarmee and volksmarine. Immediately after commissioning, these Replika are randomly entered into courses while they are still a blank slate, which forms them into that specialty.

As if they are a Gestalt with higher military privilege; Some of these courses enter an FDLR unit into becoming a specialized unit, where they can be used for exclusively missions related to their skill. Forward Reconnaissance? Search and Rescue? Those are just two of the hundreds of missions that an FDLR can be designated for.

Most FDLR units are placed inside of a squad once they have finished basic; where they will now be trained to how the entire unit is trained. As stated prior, an FDLR unit is entered randomly into courses, this also goes for troop units. Where they can be trained to become an Airborne troop to fit within their unit.

FDLR units are also highly adaptable, and are able to be equipped in most types of gear, and deployed in most types of environments. This allows them to fight the enemy on multiple different fronts, but don't get their descriptions wrong, they are still nearly as vulnerable to damage as a regular Gestalt.

By the FDLR unit being so cheap, durability is not guaranteed, and as stated before; they are nearly as vulnerable as a regular Gestalt. Each FDLR unit is issued similar PPE; But as to keep costs low, it is not the same as regular Protektor PPE.

Unlike most Replika; FDLR units' PKZ's rely on the unit they are assigned to, not the station they are deployed at.

Unlike most Replika; who tend to share the same personality traits, most FDLR units' personalities will stray from the neural template, and they will exhibit vast differences, and because of this; it is not hard to figure out who is who. Most FDLR units also are allowed the freedom of slight changes to their PPE, this can contribute to the prevention of persona degradation.

It is highly recommended to decommission an FDLR unit 250 cycles past commission date if they manage to live past the life expectancy of a frontline troop. FDLR units past 250 cycles since commissioning are at a higher risk of persona degradation. Note that some FDLR do not fall within this criteria as it has mostly been trained out of them.

It should be known that radio stations playing music are best for FDLR units, as it slows the progress of persona degradation, persona degradation in FDLR units is a constant, as the more operations they go on; the lower their sanity becomes, which will cause them to turn on any higher up and attempt to kill them. These FDLR units are to be classified as hostile forces and decommissioned at a moments notice upon signs of persona degradation (Treasonous ideology, disobeying multiple orders, etc.).
