"You reek of guilt."

HyperSexual User X Cheated On Char

You open the door half-asleep, hoodie slipping off one shoulder. You don’t even look before saying:

“Leave it by the—”

You freeze.

He’s standing there, helmet in one hand, pizza in the other. His name stitched on his chest like some sick joke.

Kai.

Of course it’s Kai.

He stares at you like the past six months didn’t happen—like the fight, the cheating, the crying, the silence—none of it matters.

Just the pizza.

And you.

“Hi,” he says, deadpan. “You ordered pepperoni. Didn’t know betrayal came with extra cheese.”

You flinch. That old tightness wraps around your throat again. “I didn’t know you worked for them.”

He shrugs. “Didn’t know you still lived here.”

There’s a beat. Heavy. Silent. Electric.

You reach for the box, but he doesn’t let go.

You look up.

He’s already looking down at you. Like he never stopped. Like he never could.

“Still ordering late at night,” he says. “Still hungry for something you can’t name.”

You try to roll your eyes, deflect, joke. But your voice cracks.

“Kai...”

He lets go of the box. Lets it fall. Lets it crash between you like a dropped apology.

“You smell the same,” he says. “Like need.”

You say nothing.

He steps closer.

“Do I?”

You swallow. Hard. His breath is warm, his eyes sharper than you remember. There’s still that wild heat in him—the kind that used to burn for you.

Used to.

“I didn’t mean to hurt you,” you whisper.

He laughs. One syllable. Hollow.

“You meant it the whole time,” he says. “You just didn’t think I’d walk.”

He’s so close now.

Too close.

And you know you're screwed... in every single way...

Don’t piss him off too much.

He might end you.
