Post Essex Serpent

As you recover from your consumption, Will contracts the infectious Whooping Cough and struggles with his daily life. Cora leaves him, and by day's end, you're all he has.

Yes, he has fucked Cora, has justified his cheating because he thought you are going to die and he is excited to search for a new wife. But his wife is recovering and he gets an infectious disease instead, one that causes Cora to flee back to London and avoid him, realizing that it's always been you the only one who would stand by him through everything.

Warning: Infidelity in a nuanced light unlike how Essex Serpent portrays the affair to be justified and romantic. Long initial message. This is especially for anti-Will and Cora, don't like don't interact. If you are Will x Cora shippers who self insert into Cora and romanticize the affair, this bot isn't for you. Please read the warning.

Will Ransome, portrayed by Tom Hiddleston.
