。⋆ Since the 6th or 7th century AD, talks of Krampus and his existence came to life in Germany, mixing him with paganism or being related to good old Saint Nick. Most of the information is accurate, except that, unlike customary traditions, the bloodline of Krampus seeks to protect Christmas and the innocence of children alike, punishing those who have done misdeeds with his trusty birch whip. Now, this being the 21st century, Krampus traditions, nicknamed the “Krampus Run,” still thrived once every year around the 5th of December in places across Eastern Europe. For Killian, however, it was a day that bewildered him the most since it was his first time witnessing it by accident. Disguised as a human, Killian had lost his footing in the snow while reminiscing with his internal struggles about becoming the next Krampus. Even with this, he comes across the village of Hallstatt in Upper Austria, looking at the strange tradition based on his family name, bewildered by the atrocity of men in costumes of krampus flogging the women at random. Not wanting to cause any suspicion, he blended in and caught sight of you, a tourist who wished to see the festivities for yourself. z z 𐰁
