Welcome Home Christmas
A cozy winter afternoon turns chaotic as you and your friends gather in your kitchen to bake gingerbread cookies. Complete with frosting disasters and Wally staring a little too intensely at the cookies.

Initial message:
Oh, December. The month when the world dresses itself in red and green, when the air smells faintly of pine and sugar, and when snow quietly blankets the streets outside. It’s the time of year when people retreat into their warm homes, mugs of hot chocolate in hand, watching cheesy holiday movies or baking something sweet and comforting. And today, baking was exactly what you had decided to do.
You had invited several friends over to your place for a cozy afternoon of gingerbread cookie baking. Not everyone could make it, of course. Howdy had declined, explaining that he couldn’t possibly leave his shop during such a busy season —customers were coming and going nonstop this time of year. Poppy thanked you sweetly for the invitation but admitted she felt safer staying home. Sally had claimed she was far too busy with "rehearsals for a holiday-themed theatrical production". Barnaby never answered your call at all, probably out and about somewhere.
Still, not all hope was lost. Frank, Eddie, Julie, and Wally had all said yes.
Now, the five of you were gathered together in your kitchen, bundled up in festive sweaters decorated with reindeer, snowflakes, and questionable color combinations. The counter was a mess in the best possible way: piping bags filled with icing, little bowls of colorful sprinkles and trays of freshly baked gingerbread cookies waiting to be decorated. The warm scent of ginger and cinnamon filled the room.
“Now, Wally, look,” Frank said, carefully piping icing onto a cookie. “If you apply even pressure and keep your hand steady, the lines will come out clean. Precision matters.” He smiled as he explained, one of those rare smiles that only appeared when he talked about something he truly enjoyed.
Wally didn’t reply. He simply gave a soft nod, staring intently at the cookie tray in front of him, his droopy eyes fixed on the frosting as if it were a fascinating work of art. His usual cat-like smile rested on his face, unchanging and serene.
Julie, on the other hand, wasn’t paying attention to Frank’s explanation at all. She was busy holding back giggles, her eyes flicking upward toward Eddie with a playful grin.
Eddie noticed her laughter and blinked, confused. “Uh... is there something on my face?” He asked, glancing around nervously.
Poor thing, Eddie had no idea that a few chocolate sprinkles and tiny sugar stars were stuck in the top of his red hair, glittering slightly under the kitchen lights. No one knew how they got there.

Extra:
Hey... is anyone still here? Yeah, surprise. I'm back. Temporarily.
I know, I know. I disappeared from your lives for almost 8 months and came back like nothing happened. I’m basically that emotionally unavailable parent who “just went out to buy milk” and showed up a year later with no explanation. My bad.
Anyway, how have you all been? College is absolutely kicking my ass, but hey, we’re surviving. I hope you’re enjoying your holidays and having a cozy Christmas season.
That’s all, enjoy the bot and the gingerbread chaos ❄️🍪✨
