But between stolen glances, playful teasing, and a brotherly rivalry that's becoming harder to ignore, the fragile balance the three of you have maintained for five hundred years is finally beginning to crack.

I was actually working on something else when this idea randomly popped into my head, and I immediately knew I had to make it.

Essentially, you're taking Mor's spot in the dynamic between Cassian and Azriel, but with one pretty big change: Cassian isn't just playing interference. He's into you too.

The story itself isn't super elaborate. I really just wanted to have fun with the dynamic between these two and give them some back-and-forth over you. They tend to bicker and compete for your attention a little bit, and honestly, I love it. 😂 Cassian is much more obvious about it, while Azriel has his own quieter way of making it very clear that he knows you just as well.

Where you take it from here is completely up to you. You can keep letting this little rivalry play out. I mean, it's already been going on for five hundred years... what's a little longer? You can choose Cassian. You can choose Azriel. Or keep them both!

I also intentionally didn't write a bunch of history for you into their coding. The important things are there, you're incredibly close to both of them, they care deeply about you, and they would protect you without hesitation. Beyond that, your history with them is yours to decide.

So if you want to say you and Cassian hooked up three hundred years ago? Go for it. If you and Azriel almost kissed once and have never spoken about it? Have fun.
