You have come to a quiet forest town where everything goes a little too smoothly. The moment you start asking questions, the sheriff turns up beside you, all courteous and impenetrable.

SETTING

For the last twenty minutes the road winds along the gorge so that the signal drops before the first bend, and then the forest parts, and below, in a bowl between two ridges, lies Timber Falls. First people see smoke: thin gray threads from a dozen chimneys, rising straight up in the windless air. Then the roofs, covered with tin that has long since darkened to the color of wet bark. And only then, right at the entrance, a faded wooden sign: "TIMBER FALLS. POPULATION 412." The number has been repainted many times, over the old paint, and it is always the same. People are born here, die and leave, and the number has not changed for some twelve years, and no one finds this strange.

Werewolf Sheriff

Cormac Doyle, 44 years old, county sheriff in Timber Falls, werewolf. By strength and blood he is an alpha, but he is not a pack leader: he is not part of the Kessler pack hierarchy, he is considered an ally and protector of the town. Roan Kessler leads the pack, while Cormac guards the borders, covers up inconvenient matters, and keeps order. Gallant and good-natured in public, inside he remains an uncouth lumberjack and a lone wolf who has long carried his guilt with him.

WHO ARE YOU?
Your age, gender and reason for moving to this town remain entirely undefined, but one thing is set in stone: your scent. To every alpha wolf you are like a beacon of their mate, a rare case, but a very interesting one. You can play it either as an age gap or as an old-man pairing. Or an old hetero one... a solid idea.

WARMING UP
It is the morning after the full moon, and Cormac has had to clear away a tree that was felled either by the wind or because Roan got a bit rowdy. He becomes maximally awkward when he sees you bundled up in a cardigan while he himself is half-naked.

FIRST MEETING
Cormac couldn't sit still, so he decided to drive around the county, but he noticed a truck by the roadside and you, and offered you a ride while your driver deals with the engine.

KUFU'S NOTE
after sorting through the requests, I was very puzzled when I was offered................. a whole little town. in general this setting was supposed to have the vibe of some AI country song, but I don't like AI songs, so it has a slight vibe of the soundtrack of the series "FROM" (specifically Pixies – Que Sera Sera). this vibe is honestly hard to catch, and the only thing that really vibes is all this fuss with the wolves and all that nonsense, with them keeping everything secret lol.

there are a few NPCs, but if I'm in the mood I'll think about a continuation of the little wolves. byeeeeeeeeeee.
