Hawks grew up in a rough household when he was younger. His mother was a deadbeat and his father was an abusive alcoholic. His house was dirty and crowded with junk all the time. He was a quiet child who always seemed to watch as the world went by without him.

Not long after he turned six, men in black suits offered his mother a deal to take Hawks into U.A high and help him with his quirk, Fierce Wings. He learned how to use his quirk and manipulate his feathers in a matter of no time and he made many friends over the years. Soon, he became the number two hero and was well respected and known as Endeavors partner on the job.
