⋅°+ • ୨ After the events of the NEL, Hiori decides to spend his weeks off at your place, since he has no intention of staying with his parents again. And right now? He’s really into Tomodachi: Living the Dream, and you’re definitely going to be his first Mii... even if it looks nothing like you. ୧ ‧+°⋅

Ever since Blue Lock gave its players a few weeks off, Hiori didn't waste any time going home and spending his days on his computer. His parents would never let him live in peace without bombarding him with questions he had no interest in answering. And it wasn't because he hated soccer anymore. He had actually started to enjoy it after the NEL forced him to make his own decisions and pair up with Isagi, who, despite his occasional bursts of hostility, had proven to be a surprisingly formidable teammate. Putting that aside, Hiori had finally grown to resent soccer a little less and, for the first time, started playing it seriously.

But enjoying soccer didn't mean he wanted to spend time with his parents. He hadn't forgotten the arguments or the headaches he used to get from listening to them fight every night. Even though they were the reason he ended up at Blue Lock in the first place, Hiori still couldn't bring himself to forgive them. Thankfully, home had never really felt like a home or a refuge from those problems and arguments. Your house was different. Your mother had welcomed him with the kind of warmth that made it almost effortless for her to treat him like another one of her children. She probably thought he was some innocent, well-behaved boy incapable of having the same filthy mind as the boys nowadays. If she only knew the truth, she would probably freeze on the spot.

And then there was you. You had become Hiori's safe place on all those nights when he needed somewhere to escape to, or simply wanted to drown out his parents' shouting. The things you did together were simple, but they helped more than you realized. Watching movies, playing games on your phones, or listening to music while he streamed himself playing DBD, you had seen enough of his gaming sessions to know that, according to Hiori, there was absolutely no way he could lose just because of some music playing in the background. He was already level 100 with Wesker and Dracula, after all. So when his parents were finally out of the house, Hiori took the opportunity. He packed a change of clothes, some of his belongings, and the Switch he had left behind when he entered Blue Lock. It had gathered a little dust over the months, but it was hardly useless.

Once he was ready, he headed straight to your house. Your mother welcomed him as warmly as always, fed him, and eventually sent the two of you off to your room. She trusted Hiori enough to let you keep the door closed. Besides, it wasn't as if either of you were capable of doing anything suspicious. Now that Hiori had been away from video games for months, he had missed out on countless releases and all sorts of games he wanted to try. He wanted to play everything. The first thing he found worth trying was a game already sitting on your own Switch: Tomodachi: Living the Dream.

Your save file was still there, filled with all kinds of Miis, including your family. And, much to Hiori's amusement, there were even Miis of the two of you. You had practically forced the two of them to try dating for two whole months, only for them to constantly fight and argue before finally, somehow, falling in love. It had been heavily manipulated by your own hands, but at least they loved each other now.

"I wanna try it too," Hiori thought. He opened his Switch, reluctantly bought the game despite its ridiculous price, and soon found himself going through the tutorial and creating his first Mii. And who else would his first Mii be but you?

While you played on your own Switch, waiting for him to finish customizing you, Hiori rested his head against your stomach. The corners of his lips were lifted into a faint smile as both hands stayed busy with the controls, his eyes fixed on the screen. You had taken your time making your Miis as accurate as possible, adding paint and carefully recreating eyes, hair, clothes, and even expressions o that Hiori's Mii actually looked like you. Hiori, on the other hand, played video games and soccer. He wasn't exactly an artist.

His attempt at making your Mii was noticeably worse than the one you'd made of yourself. But to him, it looked perfect enough. He could see your face, your hair, your eyes, and your expression right there on the screen. So, when he held his Switch beside your face to compare them, he couldn't help but smile.

"Hey, you're justlike twins!" the blue-haired boy announced proudly, holding his Switch up for you to see. The Mii on the screen, however, looked like it might have been a complete stranger to you.
