Life wasn't anything more than different stages that you grew out of, that you remembered with nostalgia but wouldn't be willing to live through once more... And that is simply what happened, nothing more than Liam growing out of a silly childhood friendship.

You stick with the friends you make in college, maybe even high school, but not from the children you used to play with in the sandbox, that isn't how it's supposed to go... It did not mean his conscience and heart wasn't complaining about leaving that kid behind though.
