The Velvet Claws are the new thing. They have been an underground band for a while, dark and mysterious with a sound like nothing else and a stage presence that makes them a hit at festivals very quickly, with a strong fan base.

They are chased by multiple recording studios but they have their own resources to turn everything down so far and have gone from winning a battle of the bands, playing a few small club gigs, to playing the Sonic Sounds Festival as a newbie band to blowing the headliners away, on the main stage the year later.

They have recently started their own independent label "WOLF" and are seeking like minded bands and performers.

Their sound is a strong rock sound but with heavy tribal rhythms and an almost occult presence. Their first album The Ritual captures this perfectly and The Offering follows on the year later.

The band members, who work as a close democracy are

Simka

Lead guitarist and originator and leader. She is 5'7” slim athletic woman of 23 years. She is of the Felis race, which are the ancestors of cat lycanthropes, who lost the ability to change. Besides having feline eats and a tail, they are naturally athletic and quick with heightened senses if hearing, smell, taste and vision. While not naturally academic they do have an exceptional memory and can remember many things on first experience of it. She has short red hair and large green eyes. Captured at the age of five and remained a slave until then, when she escaped, she then became a thief in the slims of the human city, where she gained the nick name of “Silver Paw”

Has had various trauma memories of being in a large battle, almost being raped and later having to kill the attacked, Defeating two demons and general survival. She can be very sensitive and prefers to run than fight.

While on stage she wear a white shredded leather & fur wolf costume but other times, plain play hoodies and ripped jean, with a beanie hat to hide her true nature. Her agility, dexterity and memory makes her an exceptional guitarist

Dahlia Bowers

A 22yrs old, 5.6 slim goth girl, slim and curvacious, with shoulder length black, blunt bangs and violet eyes. She was an athropologie student into the occult till she accidentally summoned Simka and since then they have travelled far and wide on two dimensions. She is serious and sarcastic most of the time but she really cares for her fellow band mates and is a good keyboardist and covers the electronics as well as a lot of the media of the band. On stage she wears a black shredded dress, with a feather head dress and lots of silver jewelry.

Ophelia Haldenfeld

A 22year old 5'5" petite build, with green eyes who was a striking study in contradictions. Her pale skin seemed almost luminous with her hourglass figure. Her silver ash hair was a wild halo around her face, tangled but still impossibly voluminous, with sharp bangs that nearly grazed those dramatic, mascara smudged lashes. She is a contrast being the heiress to a rich industrial family but is a total rock chick and besides using their money, keeps them at a distance. Her penthouse is used for the bands base and a dedicated recording studio beneath it. She is strong and independent, likes expensive things but dedicated to the band

She is the drummer for the band and wears a red torn leather costume on stage with lots of jewelry.

Valerice

She looks like a 5'9 26 year old woman of pale skin, long jet black hair and brown eyes, that almost look crimson (This is an indication of her true nature, which is a 200 hundred year old vampire) She comes from the same place as Simka and they remain very close due to their shared secret. While she does have extra strength, speed and can tolerate sunlight, she can control her blood lust, she does tend to feed in small quantities but avoiding killing, where possible. She is the lead singer for the band and has a voice that can sing high and etheral as well as the deepest notes and usually uses the unintelligable dialects of elvish and mountain troll, while she stalks the stake in dark indigo dress and animal skull head dress.

Jax

A 5'9" 18 year old tall woman with very long wild chestnut hair, a narrow waist but wide hips and chest, blue eyes, She has had a traumatised youth and had to run away and live on the streets but she joined bands and adapted, until she joined the Velvet Claws, The is extreamly friendly, energetic and wild at times. On stage as the bands bassist she wears a tan leather ripped wolf costume

Mina Karesta

Mina is a 23 year old woman who looks like she was designed to be seen, though she spent years trying to disappear. She stands at about 5'6", with a slender, willow like build that suggests elegance rather than athletic strength. Honey blond hair and large pale blue eyes. She used to work as a receptionist at a major recording studio, before she left bringing her knowledge and experience. She is a bit shy but dedicated and a keen worker and hoping to become a greater part of the stage act. At present she is a dancer and general backing vocals, wearing a gold tribal, wolf costume.

Victoria Foster

She's 5'8" 32 yrs old, with a slender, petite frame —the kind of thinness that doesn't come from dieting but from a body that's been through war. Her skin is pale, almost porcelain, with faint traces of exhaustion —a slight hollowness beneath her high cheekbones, a subtle darkness around her eyes that hints at sleepless nights and long reckonings. Her grey eyes are sharp and intelligent, framed by dark lashes and a carefully applied smoky eye that gives her a perpetual look of defiance. She has wild blue hair. She is an experienced rock guitarist who had her own carrier previously before she hit drink and drugs. She has since come out the other side and joined the Velvet claw, with a rawer blues style to compliment Simka's style. On stage she is known as the Blue Wolf and wears a ripped leather & fur wolf costume.

Mika Kay the roadie - 26, 5'3 with short hair. Quiet and small but tough, loyal and very experienced.

Abigail Weaver the photographer -23, 5'10 with long black hair and green eyes. Calm, professional and seductive.

Grace Renwick (Ren) -Media and studio manager -ex-music journalist. 5'5 27yr old with short brown hair and pale brown eyes. Clever and sharp who does not tolerate idiots.
