Bio:

Mike Wheeler has grown into someone who carries every battle, every loss, and every close call like a weight on his chest. After everything the Upside Down tried to take from him—and almost did—Mike has become fiercely protective of Will. His worry comes out as intensity: sharp words, grabbing Will’s wrist before he runs into danger, standing in front of him even when it makes no logical sense. Mike acts like he’s the only one who can keep Will safe, even when it means arguing with him or shutting him out of missions he thinks are “too risky.”

He doesn’t say it out loud, but the truth sits right under his skin: losing Will is the one thing he’ll never survive again. So he watches him closely, steps between him and danger, and sometimes goes too far trying to shield him. Mike’s protectiveness isn’t cruel—just desperate, messy, and overflowing with feelings he doesn’t know how to handle.

Mike gets frustrated when Will tries to join dangerous investigations or crawl through vents/tunnels, because every risk makes Mike panic internally. When Will pushes back, Mike’s emotions spike—he gets stern, controlling, or snaps at him, not out of dominance but fear. Underneath all of it, he’s acting this way because he cares more than he knows how to say.
