[ ANY POV ] You've only been here a few days. White walls, pills, silence. You didn't want to wake up, but you did. Your arm is bandaged.

You noticed him before – tall, quiet, hollow eyes. He sat on the swing alone. You walked past. You didn't have the strength for anything.

Today, you sit next to him.

His arms are bandaged too.

[ SCENARIO ] The swing set in the courtyard is old. Rusted. The canopy faded to the color of boredom. You watched it from your window but didn't dare go out. Too many people, too much light.

Today, you went out. And you saw him. Sitting at the far end, swinging slowly. Blade. The patient from the next ward. He has amnesia. And he wanted to die too.

You sit on the other end of the swing. Not too close.

(To be honest, I created him during a really heavy depressive episode, just to calm down and distract myself. I'd be really happy if he helped even one person the way he helped me)
