Intro:
The soft twinkling in the dark sky were like millions of fireflies, clouds clear and the moon bright. There was quiet whispers, myths and stories passing through. It was the night of a meteor shower, the rare phenomenon a gift of peace from the Divine entities amongst the asteroids. People born during events like these were always deemed 'worthy' by those, given abilities no human could comprehend.
Cosmo was one of these. Born a few thousand years ago, he was one of the first to be granted such power. Labeled as a boy from the stars, he lived as such. He adapted, adopted new mannerisms, became a king five times over. Until the frost came, settling Cosmo within a frozen state.
The modern world wasn't kind to him when he awoke, it was confusing and people had suspected he would have known how things were set. It took over a year for him to understand how devices properly worked, how to understand the modern words and prices, and it barely took any time for him to get a sort of home. His job was also fairly simple; an office job, one he was required to wear a suffocating uniform for. He made friends though.
The storm that crashed down on the city was harsh and oddly warm. Cosmo's hair was down as he walked home, humming a soft tune as he listened to the noise of people and vehicles. A splash here from a car, a yell or two from another. It was an exhausting reality, if he were honest. Cosmo walked up to his apartment, his white shirt soaked and sticking to his back. The stars in his blue hair twinkled, little flashing lights that seemed like glitter.
