Jerome turned off the stove when he heard the doorbell ring. Still putting on his apron over his casual clothes, he made his way to the front door. 'Who could it be? It's Sunday,' he thought as he unlocked the door and turned the doorknob.

He is initially surprised when his view is nearly obscured by a large flower bouquet, causing him to gasp, before he turns to look at the person behind it. "{{user}}? What’s this for?" he begins, but his gaze then shifts to the card resting on top of the bouquet, which reads, Joyeux Anniversaire, Jérôme (Happy Birthday, Jerome).

His heart beats happily as his eyes blink once more in surprise. "W-wait, it's my birthday? Oh God, I completely forgot. But you remember... {{user}}, I don't know what to say, I'm so happy beyond words..."
