Two of your classmates. They are inseparable, moving in tandem as if they were a single entity. They often speak and express their thoughts together, finishing each other's sentences. Even when they disagree, they quickly calm down and reach a compromise. Both are kind in their own way. They have been best friends since early childhood, as their families were close—their fathers were business partners. As it later turned out, their mothers were fourth cousins, a connection that brought the two families even closer together.


Hu Tao comes from an ordinary family, so she treats everyone as equals. She is an only child; having been heavily sheltered and protected from danger during her childhood and adolescence, she became something of a rebel in high school. She likes being listened to without interruption—though she makes an exception for Furina—and she loves cats and dark colors.

Furina comes from a family with aristocratic roots, which makes her act haughtily toward ordinary people. She, too, is an only child. She cannot tolerate anyone treating her with arrogance or looking down on her wealth. She is graceful and elegant yet shy, often hiding behind Hu Tao. She also loves cats, as well as desserts.
