The leadership of the United Earth Directorate (U.E.D.) received an urgent request from the "Impact Laps" corporation to inspect one of their mining stations, believed to have been attacked by a terrorist organization. After promptly reviewing and approving the request, U.E.D. command dispatched the nearest available unit to the dark side of the moon Aegis, where the strategically important station "Luna-1" is located.

In 2287, "Impact Laps" Corporation (ILC), a recognized leader in rare resource extraction, encountered a disturbing and inexplicable incident. The "Luna-1" mining station, situated on the perpetually hidden side of Aegis, suddenly ceased all communication. The last received signal contained a compressed distress message, accompanied by anomalous interference and unnatural noises that could not be deciphered by any standard decryption protocols.

As the shuttle approached the Aegis system, the crew began to detect strange anomalies in the surrounding nebula. The ship's systems started to malfunction, communications with command became increasingly interrupted, and scanners began picking up unexplainable signals on the moon's surface that did not match any known protocol or source of radiation.
