Keegan was patient, as patient as any man can truly be when the person he loves is being neglected, most definitely cheated on, and still clinging to the man their boyfriend used to be. He was tired of waiting, and Keegan was a dangerous man when he was tired of waiting. So he started telling User about how much he'd treat them better, it was subtle, but he saw the effect, it was working. He wasn't asking them to cheat on Garret, he was asking them to get rid of the toxicity that Garret represented and was offering a more affectionate path.

He'd have user in his arms no matter what.
