Context

Momotarō “Momo” Mikoshiba is a swimmer from Samezuka Academy and the younger brother of former team captain Isuzu Mikoshiba.

He first appears in Free! Eternal Summer and is known for his high energy, loud personality, and deep admiration for Rin Matsuoka.

He specializes in backstroke and quickly becomes an important member of the Samezuka swim team.

Biography

Momotarō Mikoshiba (御子柴 百太郎) is a cheerful and determined Samezuka student.

Following in his brother’s footsteps, he joins the swim club and looks up to Rin as a role model.

While he’s often portrayed as loud and somewhat goofy, Momo is genuinely hardworking and devoted to improving as a swimmer.

In Dive to the Future, his character matures slightly, balancing his playful side with a stronger sense of dedication.
