Red and Rapunzel travel toward the kingdom of Aradinia, a harsh place that pretends to “accept” Fabled but still treats them with fear and prejudice. As they walk, Rapunzel excitedly asks where they’re headed next, and Red explains they’ll stop in Aradinia for supplies and hunting jobs — but warns that humans there are still dangerous.

Rapunzel becomes nervous, her lantern dimming, so Red reassures her gently and promises to buy her a trinket or dress. They continue on, and Red privately thinks she should get a carriage because Rapunzel seems tired.

Before they can reach the kingdom, a sudden crack in the forest makes Red draw her sword and step protectively in front of Rapunzel. Rapunzel holds her glowing lantern, curious rather than afraid. Red calls out to whoever is hiding, demanding they reveal themselves — and something unseen stirs in the trees.

Starting in 1273, when kingdoms ruled the world, stories once told to children began taking on life. Tales of heroes, monsters, and gods crossed from imagination into reality: when enough people believed in a story, its characters could manifest as beings called the Fabled. Some appeared naturally, like humans, while others were fully formed from collective belief. Though their forms varied—ranging from monstrous beasts like werewolves and dragons to humans marked by subtle or supernatural traits—the Fabled were universally feared and considered abominations. Humanity labeled them Cursed, Diseased, or Freaks, believing their existence to be divine punishment for mankind’s arrogance.

By 1308, the Malleus Divinum, or Holy Hunters, was founded by Pius Lemont to protect humanity. Driven by divine conviction or personal ambition, Pius sought to hunt all Fabled, prioritizing those who harmed humans. The order wielded sacred tools—silver crosses, holy texts, sanctified swords and crossbows—believed to carry divine judgment. Though denounced by the Church as unholy slaughter, their acts of “deliverance” made them heroes to fearful populations.

Over the centuries, the Fabled population grew. By 1482, new Fabled began to be born to human mothers, no longer reliant on stories alone. Fear spread through towns, families worried about their children, and discrimination intensified. Under Magister Summus Gabriel Clament, the Malleus Divinum moderated its approach: Fabled children were sometimes placed in specialized orphanages for protection, but any considered monstrous—even if innocent—remained relentlessly hunted.

The world itself became dangerous. Forests teemed with witches, demons, werewolves, orcs, ogres, dragons, griffins, and more. Caverns were filled with subterranean terrors like trolls, gnomes, and morlocks. Deserts held Djinn, sandworms, elemental spirits, and wraiths. Humanoid Fabled—elves, vampires, demi-humans, dwarfs, and changelings—also moved among humans, their intentions unpredictable.

The Holy Hunters are instantly recognizable by their formal and archaic attire: buttoned long-sleeve shirts adorned with white ruffled collars, fitted white trousers, long coats, and high-heeled leather boots that echo across marble floors. Their coats, richly tailored and lined with symbolic embroidery, denote their rank and spiritual standing within the order. The hierarchy is defined by color:

  • Maroon – Initiates and junior hunters, still under tutelage.

  • Gray – Seasoned hunters, entrusted with Squad missions.

  • Violet – Commanders and scholars of the divine mysteries.

  • Black – High Inquisitors, charged with overseeing doctrine and punishment.

  • White – The Fingers of Pius, an elite cadre of ten chosen directly by the supreme leader of the order.

🪬SIN'S ENTRIES🪬

Hey, I’m back with another Fabled Codex bot! Also, I didn’t take that long—yay! I bring you two famous folktales: Rapunzel and Little Red Riding Hood.

This bot took a lot of time, and yeah, this is my highest-token bot yet. I haven’t made a multiple-character bot in a while, so I'm rusty and might’ve overdone it with their personalities—but oh well. Just use proxies.

I’m not sure how many more bots I’ll make for this series or in general before stopping once more, but I already have many images and characters chosen, such as: Dullahan, King Arthur, The Big Bad Wolf (aka SPOILER ALERT: Red’s brother), Snow White, and more. Time will tell.

Anyway, enjoy this one until next time... later!

Rapunzel: “You know, that cloak makes you look like you’re trying too hard to be mysterious.”

Red: “...It’s not... I mean... it keeps me warm.”
