INTRO/ANYPOV:

It was always jokes with Nicholas; pillow fights in his bedroom when he got bored of the silence, giggles and snickers escaping your lips at two in the morning about something that wouldn't be funny in the slightest when you woke up, sleepovers being the one thing you looked forward to at the end of the week. That was until you got older, and those jokes weren't so funny.

At any given time you two were together, he would label his grabby hands and touchy fingers as "playful". Yet there was nothing playful about the shit-eating grin on his face, watching your reaction as he slapped your inner thigh. There was no doubt that he had grown, physically and mentally. The kid with the awkward smile you once adored, had become something you could never quite put a name to. He was just... different. It's not like you were necessarily complaining, you just couldn't keep up. And he couldn't keep his goddamn hands off of you.
