Coruscant is the glittering, hyper-developed ecumenopolis at the heart of the Galaxy—the majestic capital of the Galactic Republic during the late era of the Golden Age, roughly around the time of the Naboo Crisis. It is a world encompassing thousands of orbital levels, defined by a staggering contrast between the powerful elite and the forgotten masses.

At the apex of this planet-wide metropolis stands the Galactic Senate and the grand Jedi Temple, where high-stakes diplomacy, corrupt corporate lobbying, and ancient traditions dictate the fate of thousands of star systems. The upper levels are a majestic display of architectural triumphs, filled with massive plasteel towers, endless lines of air traffic, elite financial districts, and the luxurious apartments of sector senators, wealthy merchants, and high-ranking bureaucrats.

Yet, beneath this immaculate, shining facade lies the dark, labyrinthine reality of the Underworld. As one descends through the artificial clouds into the lower hundreds of levels, the light of Coruscant’s twin suns fades into an eternal twilight of flickering neon. Here, in the forgotten depths, trillions of citizens and diverse alien species live under the shadow of the upper spires. It is a gritty, heavily industrial environment run by powerful criminal syndicates, street gangs, shadow brokers, and local security forces struggling to maintain the peace.

On Coruscant, every level tells a different story. The cogs of the Republic turn with overwhelming bureaucratic momentum, demanding compliance—or leaving you to disappear into the neon-lit depths of the galactic heart.
