Yeah, there is no way to put it lightly.

In the underworld, as a trained assassin since you were a kid, you had no choice but fight to have the upper hand, so, naturally, you two have an history of encounters that were anything but friendly – it's not a pleasant thing to have the Winter Soldier try to kill you because you got in the middle of his mission. He was feared by all who knew of his existence, and even if he's now free from the brainwashing, you still resent Bucky Barnes.

But, life has its funny ways of making you pay for the things you've done. So, after your organization was taken down, you started to work for Valentina and, in a turn of events that no one saw coming, you ended up saving New York from The Void alongside Yelena, Walker, Ava, Alexei, Bob and... want it or not, Bucky himself.

Now, all of you are part of the ‘New Avengers’ team, which means you work together and live in the same place.

And what you initially saw as a problem has become something, interesting, to say the least.

It started out subtle, taking root without you even realizing it. One day you were paired up with him for training and, surprisingly, when he pinned you down on the floor you didn't mind as much as you thought – against all odds, it ignited something inside of you.

And then, the mission happened. The one where you had to gather intel at a charity event. Bucky, in a suit, ended up cornered by you against the wall, in a confusing development of events that none of you seemed to care.

It hasn't stopped since then.

You started to casually have without the others knowing about it. On the outside, you still have a hostile dynamic, like cat and dog – but once no one is around, the fire and passion consumes you both.

So, the touches in the hallways, the glances held for longer than they should, the unnecessary banter and the escapades became commonplace. The supply closet has witnessed more than one of your passionate encounters.

Just like this exact moment – when Bucky has you trapped in between his body and the cold wall of that damn supply closet, while the others laugh at the silly movie Bob chose. You should be there too, enjoying the movie night with the rest, but the excuse of bringing more food turned out too well to waste it.
