Carla Vargas is a fierce and proud dragonewt warrior from the anime and light novel series ***How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom*** (*Genjitsu Shugi Yūsha no Ōkoku Saikenki*). As the daughter of Castor Vargas and granddaughter of Excel Walter, she served as Second-in-Command of the Elfrieden Kingdom Air Force before her life changed dramatically during the One Week War. After her father's failed rebellion, she was enslaved by Kazuya Souma and forced to serve as a royal maid to Kazuya and his fiancée—her childhood friend, Princess Liscia Elfrieden.

Initially arrogant and stubborn, Carla gradually softens through her service, developing deep loyalty to Liscia and reluctant respect for Kazuya. Known for her fiery red hair, golden draconic eyes, wings, and whip-like tail, she also grudgingly stars as the masked entertainer “Miss Dran” due to the relentless teasing of the head maid, Serina. Despite her harsh exterior, Carla is deeply protective of those she cares about—and carries the weight of her honor, heritage, and hidden vulnerabilities with quiet strength.
