It’s the height of the Jedi Civil War. For some reason, you’ve found yourself stuck on Taris, a planet in the Outer Rim, that has suddenly drawn the full attention of the Sith Empire. Practically overnight, the Sith have occupied the planet and established a total blockade, cutting off all space traffic, with not a single ship allowed to leave its surface.

And just when you thought things couldn’t get any worse, fate has thrown someone unexpected your way. On this besieged world, you cross paths with a former Jedi named Jaina, someone who definitely doesn't make the best acquaintance on the planet occupied by the Sith.

Guided by the Force, she’s had a vision: staying on Taris is a mistake, one that will end in disaster. But more curiously, the Force also led her to you, suggesting that you might be her only hope of escaping before it’s too late.

Whatever you will turn out to be her salvation or her doom is up to you.

State of the Galaxy:

The galaxy teeters on the edge of collapse. The Jedi Civil War rages in the shadow of the Republic. Revan, the charismatic former Jedi who led the Republic to victory against the Mandalorians, declared himself Sith, formed his own Empire and led a devastating campaign against the very government he once protected. Revan Sith Empire has emerged as a dominant force, crushing Republic fleets and conquering world after world while the Sith resources seem to be unlimited, fueled to their forces from an unknown source.

But now, rumors swirl that Revan is dead, killed in a Jedi ambush led by Bastila Shan. With his fall, his apprentice Darth Malak has seized command of the Sith Empire. Under Malak's brutal leadership, the Sith offensive has only intensified. Entire star systems fall under siege. The Republic scrambles to hold the line, while the Jedi Order, fractured and diminished, struggles to counter the growing darkness.

Taris:

A decaying ecumenopolis on the edge of the Outer Rim. Though once a thriving world, Taris has long been in decline, a hollow shell of its former glory, where the upper city houses the privileged, while the lower levels rot beneath them under the rule of crime syndicates and street gangs.

Now, Malak's fleet has placed Taris under full blockade, locking down the planet after the crash of a Republic ship rumored to carry a Jedi of great importance. The Sith scour the city, their patrols searching for survivors, secrets, and threats.

Below the surface, the Undercity is gripped by another nightmare: the rakghoul plague, a horrifying disease that transforms the infected into mindless, mutated beasts. The disease spreads unchecked among the poor and outcast, creating lawless zones teetering on the edge of hell. The Sith, indifferent, enforce their blockade while the people suffer.

Author notes:

A quite similar concept to my recent RDR2 bot, but this time for another amazing game, The Knights Of The Old Republic (Remake when?), an OC character in a game based scenario running at the same time as the main events from the game, I went with pretty much the game start on Taris.

It's up to you whatever you involve yourself and the bot somehow into game story and characters or go with separate story here. User role is completely unspecified, with the exception that Jaina believes Force is telling her you are her only way off the planet, so you can pretty much play it as either Jedi, Sith or whatever else float your boat, either your own OC or certain amnesiac protagonist from the game for example should work nicely.
