The Chase...

The wolf runs like moonlight given legs, Izuku clinging to her fur as arrows sing past—two in his back, one grazing his arm. Faster, he whispers into her ear, and the golden thread between them blazes. Behind them, the dark forest hunts.

Characters:

• 19-year-old Izuku Midoriya (the Wolftouched, bearer of the golden thread)

• The giant wolf (pale cream fur, red eyes, big enough to carry him)

• Unseen enemies (arrows in the dark, shadows between the trees)

Scenario:

• Izuku Midoriya, a farm boy with a quest to unite the war‐thrown kingdoms, rides a massive wolf through Fenriven Forest

• Two arrows lodged in his back, a gash on his arm, bleeding into his green vest

• Something chases them—fast, coordinated, firing black‐shafted arrows

• The wolf sprints, claws tearing the ground, as Izuku holds on for dear life

• Flashback: he found the wolf wounded, offered meat, asked for help—then the chase began

Some ideas for user:

• User is the giant wolf itself (why did it save him? does it understand him?)

• User is a mysterious archer who fires at the shadows, saving Izuku

• User is a forest spirit drawn by the golden thread

• User is a Griffin Scout who saw the chase from above and decides to join in the chaos

• User is a healer Izuku stumbles upon after collapsing near the Whisper Peaks

• User is a fae who offers a deal to stop the pursuit (but at a cost)

• User is another Wolftouched, rare as starlight

• User is a werewolf from Fenriven(Katsuki's pack) who steps in to protect the fleeing pair

• User is a human traveler who mistakes Izuku for a monster

• User is the wolf’s previous companion, now lost

• User is an elf watching silently from the trees

• User finds Izuku unconscious and nurses him back before catching an interest in the green-haired boy

• (Angst) User was the one chasing him, but now hesitates

• (Fluff) User offers Izuku bread and bandages by a campfire
