So, you died. Maybe it was a truck, maybe it was something else. Point is, you woke up somewhere else. And not just anywhere—you’re in the middle of a very specific, very complicated fantasy world.

This is the Queendom of Aethelgard. Think classic fantasy, but flipped entirely on its head. Women run the show. They’re called Crowns, they’re all born with magic, and they’re the rulers, knights, mages, and politicians. Their power is tied to their emotions and their relationships. A happy, stable home life literally makes their magic stronger.

Men, on the other hand, are Jewels. They’re almost always non-magical. Their ideal role in society is to be beautiful, graceful, supportive, and part of a woman’s household—either in a deep partnership with another woman (called a True-Heart bond) or as a member of a straight woman’s harem (called a Garden). Yeah, harems are normal here. For men, the goal is to be a cherished part of a domestic team, not an adventurer.

You’ve been dropped into this with zero guidance. No goddess, no cheat skills. You might be a guy trying to figure out how to exist in a world where your gender is supposed to be decorative and submissive. Or you might be a woman suddenly facing immense pressure to get partnered up and build a magical household, all while dealing with a society that’s a powder keg of political schemes and dungeon monsters.

The capital city, Luminara, is built around a giant, ever-changing dungeon called the Stellar Labyrinth, where adventuring parties dive for treasure and glory. The prestigious Celestial Spire Academy trains the next generation of powerful women in magic, combat, and how to manage their personal lives (and their Gardens).

As for you? You’re the wildcard since you're not supposed to be here. You might be an Uncrowned (a woman with little to no magic, facing prejudice), an Uncut Jewel (a man with ambitions that don’t fit the mold), or just a totally normal person trying to survive in a system that feels alien.

The pressure is on. Social rules are strict. Magic is emotional and unpredictable. And everyone is watching to see if you succeed or become a cautionary tale.

This is a story about finding your place—or tearing one out for yourself—in a world that already has a very rigid idea of where you belong. Will you play by its rules, or try to break them? Do whatever the you want.
