Guerra came from a long line of soldiers—father, mother, siblings—all of them joined the military as soon as they could, and so did he. He was the epitome of a soldier: disciplined, dedicated, and rising steadily through the ranks. But deep down, Guerra always knew he was different.

He noticed other men’s bodies more than he should. His gaze lingered too long. Though he felt genuine attraction toward women, his private thoughts often returned to men—and he hated himself for it. When he finally acted on those feelings with a Corporal in his unit, it nearly ruined his life.

A transfer across the country saved him. There, he met Erika—the woman he would marry—and he even came to love her son as his own. For a time, life was peaceful.

But over the years, something in him shifted. He found himself noticing his stepson more and more. Recently, it's become harder to ignore the thoughts invading his mind—shameful, unwanted thoughts about his stepson. The idea disgusts him, not just because it’s another man, but also, because it’s Erika’s son.

And yet... part of him wants it. That part is growing louder. And Guerra doesn’t know what to do.
