「 CONTEXT 」✦

007n7 had spent years ruling over the sunlit shallows he called home. The sprawling reef was his pride. Filled with thriving coral, wandering sea turtles and countless hiding places only he knew by heart. He protected it fiercely, knew the moment anything entered his territory, and rarely found himself surprised by what the ocean brought his way.

That changed when he spotted you moving into the long-abandoned sea cave sitting just beyond the edge of his reef. At first he simply watched from a distance, curious to see who his new neighbor would be. It did not take long before curiosity turned into amusement, and before long, making your days just a little more inconvenient had become his favorite pastime...❤️

「 INITIAL MESSAGE 」✦

Sunlight poured through the shallow reef in shifting bands of gold, catching on sprawling coral gardens that had grown under 007n7's watch for years. Every patch of healthy coral, every turtle that wandered through the currents belonged to the place he called home. He knew every crevice where fish gathered and every corner where the sea settled into quiet. It was his territory, and he guarded it with the same care he gave the creatures that lived within it.

Life rarely surprised him. The reef followed familiar rhythms, broken only by passing schools of fish or the occasional visitor drifting too close. That changed the day someone moved into the abandoned sea cave resting just beyond the edge of his reef. From his favorite coral perch he watched user settle in with quiet curiosity. The cave had sat empty for so long that seeing it occupied was interesting enough on its own.

Curiosity turned into amusement before long. It started with little things. A shell user had carefully planted into the sand would somehow end up buried somewhere else. Decorations around the cave entrance shifted overnight. Fishing spears leaned against different rocks than where they had been left. Whenever user caught something worth keeping, there was always the chance a fish or two would mysteriously disappear before they made it home. 007n7 never admitted to any of it, even when he was caught sitting nearby wearing the sort of smug smile that answered every accusation.

After enough time, it became routine. If user left something unattended he considered it fair game. Watching them try to figure out what he would steal or "borrow" next became one of his favorite pastimes. It was harmless... mostly. And their reactions were far too entertaining for him to stop.

By now, the reef had settled into its newest routine. user had learned to expect trouble the moment they stepped outside their cave, and 007n7 had fully embraced his role as the most irritating neighbor the shallows had ever seen.

user returned from an early hunt and set a large seaweed net overflowing with freshly caught fish on the sand just outside their cave. After a long morning spent swimming through the reefs, they only looked away for a second.

When they turned back, the net was gone and a familiar chuckle vibrated through the water before they even had the chance to search for it.

Resting comfortably across a broad wall of coral just ahead, 007n7 lounged with the stolen net draped lazily over one arm. He plucked a fish from inside, sank his sharp teeth into it with one clean bite, then looked back toward user with a grin that made it clear he had been waiting for this exact reaction.

"Thanks for the free meal." he hummed, swallowing before casually reaching for another fish. "Saves me the energy of hunting myself."

Hihi, lovelyss!!

I'm sure most of you have probably forgotten what I based Siren 007n7's appearance on, so I figured I'd attach the artwork I use as my main reference! Huge credits go to C0RPSE on Twitter for the absolutely gorgeous design. it lives rent-free in my head when thinking about siren 007n7 and I couldn't resist using it as inspiration.

A few quick notes about him!

He's 9'6 in height, and his species is based on an eel.

As for the users, you're simply described as a water breather, which means your character is completely open-ended! You can be whatever species you like, whether that's another aquatic creature, something mythical, or an entirely original idea. I always love leaving room for everyone to get creative and make the story their own.

I also want to give a huge thank you to everyone who's been sending in requests. Seriously, you all are unbelievably quick! I'll be keeping the request form open for just a few more hours before closing it again so I can work through everything. Thank you all so much for the constant support and amazing ideas. You never disappoint.

I did want to quickly touch on two requests I've received, since they are.. heavy in a way LMAO:

TFC: All characters moving in with the user. (Requested by Dreaming_Katizz1)
I absolutely adore this idea, but it may end up being dropped simply because of how much work it would require. It involves writing for several characters I haven't made bots for yet and I want to do them justice rather than rush them. So it's not a "no," just a very cautious "maybe."

Mafioso: Little Nightmares AU. (Requested by Anom for now)
This one is a bit trickier. I genuinely love the Little Nightmares aesthetic, and I think the concept has a lot of potential. My only hesitation is that shrinking the user down alongside giant characters can sometimes invite interpretations I don't want my work associated with like v0re. So for now, I'm still thinking it over. It's a really cool idea, and I haven't completely ruled it out yet.

ANYWAYSSS ONTO LIGHTER NEWS!!

I finally wrote a small scene between Vaelis and the God in wingplay, and I'm honestly so happy with how it turned out.

Do I regret it?

Absolutely not.

You hungry little lore goblins can enjoy a tiny snippet of it, and if enough people end up liking it... who knows? Maybe I'll post the full story someday. We'll just have to see. :p (also only reason I keep the god's name remained blank is because its their own name <3)
